Road had been taken to WAYANAD
Arriving at Chennai central railway station at 10.30pm on 29/09/06, was waiting for Rahul and Surya.Our train to Bangalore starts at 11:15pm.They both arrived around 10:45pm and the train started towards Bangalore.
Reached Bangalore at 5.30am and went to BTM Layout where Shrikanth,Harish and Sriram stays.We were supposed to leave Bangalore at 8.00am, since Vijay's bus from Hyderabad got delayed and so we started our journey towards WAYAND at 10:45am.We had booked a Sumo and Jaffer chauffeured us.
It was a pleasant day and the road to Mysore was so good and smooth ao we were able to move like a car unlike a cart inside Bangalore. Slight booze and Mukund's(es) & Vijay's HIGHness kept us away from hunger, However we found a Dhaba ouside Mysore and had a good slow Lunch.we were heading towards Kalpetta* via Sultan-bathiri*. It started raining in between and roadsides became more beautiful and pleasant.After craossing Sultan bathiri real Brainstorming of agendas for the next two days began.Printouts of Places to vsit and an apparent map helped us to guess Places and made a rough plan.
The road after Sultan bathiri was covered with dense forest and we came through check posts then and there.After a lush green ride we reached kalpetta at 5.00pm.Now,big headache we had to search for accomodation. The town wasn't a big one and we luckily found a three rooms(for 8 people) at Hotel Affas for a single night stay.It costed us Rs250 for each room and rooms were pretty cosy to rest.
Dinner at Affas was decent and we had some good juices and snoozed for that night.
